How a Breakup Letter Changed American history

According to Garrett Dash Nelson, president and head curator of the Norman B. Leventhal Map & Education Center at the Boston Public Library, the final version of the Declaration of Independence was not completed until the end of 1776, about five months after the nation became independent from England.
