“Portraits of Pride: A Celebration of Legacy Makers,” a traveling exhibit by the Boston LGBTQ Museum of Art, Culture and History, highlights thriving members of the local LGBTQ community. On a recent afternoon, the verdant trees on Atlantic Avenue cast flattering shadows on the portraits of openly gay individuals, including Boston Ballet alum John Lam and Dr. Gary Bailey, the MSW program director for the School of Social Work at Simmons University.
