His goal: net-zero emissions by 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last August, Howland\u2019s team of researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology finalized a wind farm model capable of directing turbines to work in tandem, increasing efficiency while keeping costs the same.
