The Road to Bike Safety Starts at the Park

In several Boston neighborhood parks, children are preparing themselves for a taste of newfound freedom.

“Bike towns” within the city have gained popularity through Mayor Michelle Wu’s recent “Connect, Learn, Explore/Boston Bikes” initiative. It promotes bike safety, confidence and independence for kids of all ages and attempts to remove parental concerns over traffic and injuries.
